Great, as if my essay writing isn't hard enough already, the local "festival" has decided to have a fireworks display of Baghdadian proportions. It's on the seafront and my house is on the cliff top. I find my usual case of typing diarrheah quashed by my inability to accurately portray my memage with all seriousness and no toilet gaggs. "It is only waffer thin..." in that the essay is in 5 parts, and the total comes to 3k words. I've managed 349 words on the first part after 4 hours preparing for the writing last night (I had to research what ( Read more... ) -

Apparently in the building I work (which used to be a hotel), ages ago one of the servants died whilst cleaning out the septic tank. This is according to the new live-in caretaker and his wife. He actually slipped, banged his head on the hatch and fell into it. Safe to say open wounds in a septic tank is not conducive to swift recovery and he died ( Read more... ) -

Only tutor in today (surprise there). The sandwich ladies made my day as there's a young Thai girl with them today and she spotted our "Hall of Fame" for results. She asked why people's names were on the wall and one of the sandwich ladies replied in a comedy patronising voice "Because they're wanted by the police".
