Thank you, Threadless.

I go back and forth with Threadless. Sometimes it's a little too artsy for me, and sometimes it's just perfect:

I feel the same way. I own at least ten Threadless shirts. Sadly, many of the recent designs don't move me as much as the older ones did. I just received their newsletter today and most of it was boring to me. That's been happening a lot. :(

I also don't care for many of their "joke" shirts: you look at the shirt, look at the title, look back at the shirt, and go "Ohhhhh! I get it now!" I will not buy a shirt that doesn't make sense unless you know the title. It needs to either A> look gorgeous on it's own without any particular meaning behind the design, or B> the meaning can be deciphered without knowing the title of the design.

I completely agree. I actually posted this after looking through the recent email and the reprint in green was the only one that made me smirk. A lot of the new shirts are way artsy but without any punch. :( Some of the joke shirts still get me, like pandamonium and the one above - just because I saw it and thought to myself "Nuts" before I even saw the title (which falls into the (B) category of your comment). :P

I can't look away tho. Sometimes the page creates some real gems... like the Communist Party shirt. It makes me smile every time I think about it. :D

See, the "Nuts" one is ok. Because it's funny without knowing the title of the design. I also love the Communist Party one, too!

Here's a list of what I have. I'm sure I'm missing some, though. Apparently I own more than ten, because there are tons of retired designs I can't find anywhere in the catalog:

Bleeding Heart (I have the black shirt with the red heart. I've considered buying the red shirt with the black heart because I like it THAT much.

Permafrost Pollution

We're Toast

Sweet Creep I bought this one for Alex. He loves it.

When I Was A Pumpkin I haven't even worn this one yet. I bought it this Halloween.

The Killing Tree I really loved this shirt until my brother asked me if it was a black man getting lynched. Now I'm afraid to wear it, especially down south. I don't want anyone thinking it's a racist statement on my part. :( I just thought it was cute and creepy and gothy!

Bleeding Sun

Garden of Evil

Ah Munna Eat Choo

Lemuria Mine is purple on lavender.

I love Threadless!!! I used to have the burger "I want to be inside you" as an avatar, that and the "SILF" one...because really Sandwiches (good sandwiches) are really only good for fucking.
