Today's random photos are of Devil's Hole in Texas. This pit appeared in a Nissan (I think) commercial a few months ago, albeit with its depth of 150 feet greatly enhanced by computer-generated graphics. These stories and pictures are such a treat! Funny yet very scary at the same time. I would definitely not have the balls to step over the edge of that with just a rope and some gear holding me up. *shudders*.

Yes, you would. Seems to me I remember having to argue you out of going over the lip of a 60' pit into a waterfall. (Waterfalls are deadlier than undercut lips, my dear!)
