After much waffling on what kind of AR15 I wanted, I finally decided. I'm putting off a DCM barrel until another time (good ammo's not cheap), and I don't really need the 20-inch barrel I was considering (I have several .308s if I want a distance shooter). I like the Carbon 15, but nobody has them, and I hear the wait for one can stretch months. I'

I can't wait to get out to the range tomorrow to try it out, even though I expect the teasing will be inevitable, being as I've always been solidly in the M1A camp while my buddies are all AR types. Yes, I finally bought a "Micky Mouse" gun, and I'm pimping it out, too. I just ordered an EOTech scope for it. :> Here's a link to Springfield's pic of the XD.
