Just got a phone call, my great uncle passed away. I wasn't close with him and he was 89 years old. I feel horrible for his wife, children and grandchildren especially at this time of year. This has been a bad week. Betty with her hypoglycemia, Chapman being rushed to the vet and my great uncle. If bad things happen in threes, I'm done for now

I went to visit Chapman yesterday for almost an hour and there is good news and bad news. The good news is that there is no cancer and the chylothorax is healing. Each day less fluid is being withdrawn from his lungs. The bad news is he is vomiting frequently and therefore not keeping food down. We still don't know a prognosis, either way. What do you do when your heart aches so badly that all you can do is stare into space and cry? This morning Chapman, one of my cats, was having a difficult time breathing.
