Its snowy outside. Were in a recession. People have lost their jobs. And yet, im about to write a long whiney post about the fact that I cant get people to go rock climbing with me. Thats good nick. well done. Good priorities. Fuck it, here goes ( Read more... )

I'm sorry I don't get out to do it more. Hell, I'm sorry I don't get out to do all kinds of things more. I don't know what's happened to me in my old age that I've become so inert.

well, you are pre-married. We sort of take it as a foregone conclusion that if we cant sell Tamara on it that we arent going to get you either. But then, Tamara is one of the lying many who has said theyre interested in trying it "some day"

Tamara says she's waiting until she's more properly insured. Marriage'll take care of that since she can get on my L33t inP0wnance Policy.

Insurance is seriously a non-issue. Ive probably been there for like 200-300 hours over this past year. Ive seen one person need actual medical attention, and then like 3 others (including Ben that one time) hurt themselves but not actually need medical attention. She probably is more likely to hurt herself walking up and down stairs.

THAT DOES MAKE ME FEEL BETTER! When people ask me to go do something I think would be awful, like gardening or crocheting, or eating vegetarian, I dont like or equivocate. I just tell them it isnt for me. How hard is that?

By the way, Im totally down to go bowling with you.

i would actually go! i live in a different state though :(

next time i'm in seattle i will if time allows. i've never done it before but i've climbed a bunch of stuff!!! like, trees and social hierarchy.

it's snowy here too. i almost ran into a trailer because my car slid on ice.
