Last wednesday we had work men round to knock down the ceiling in the childrens bedroom and replace it, this of course meant we had to empty the room of all furniture. Compulsary recycling in my area seemed like the best thing since sliced bread, and since it came into being I have been happily seperating my waste into the relevent bags and boxes all the while thinking that I am doing my bit for the environment ( Read more... ) -

latest stuff
So the gerbils arrived in two cages and seperated according to sex. Two adults and two babies according to Ian- a little black female gerbil in the same cage as her albino mother and a little agouti male in the same cage as his all black father. MUG!!!
I rang Ian who is now on his way back from Stoke. He told me he was bringing company. The minute he walks through that door I should belt him round the head with a rolling pin for not consulting me first, but I know I won't, because I will be out numbered. I overslept again. I didn't get up until 11.30am and that is only because my mum rang to apologise for not collecting Paddy on Wednesday night. Fancy waking me up just to tell me that- I wasn't even aware that she had arranged to pick him up on wednesday.
