Totally underestimated how cold it would be at night, and ended up sleeping for only about half the time. Kept waking up to put on more layers. Got a toy pellet BB gun for my engineering project. Supposed to take it apart and re-engineer some of the parts. But before I destroy the gun, we decided to have some fun first...

Fall Break was 2 week ago, and a couple of us (6) had planned to take a road trip down to the nature reserves in Upper Michigan on a sightseeing trip. Sleeping Bear Dunes was a place which offered a very good view of Lake Michigan, Tahquemenon Falls was the highest falls in Michigan, and Mackinac Island was a nice offshore touristy kind of place. So we had this south-east asian culture night last saturday, put up by a combination of south-east asian student associations, including Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam and Indonesia. Today is Superbowl Sunday, and while everyone is partying, drinking, pre-gaming, I will be mugging hard for an exam tomorrow, doing homework, and writing a lab report due this coming thursday.
