I went to Wolf Furniture today and bought a new bed. Unfortunately, they only order furniture when it's bought, so I have to wait 'til around June 3rd for it to come in. But hey, I got a new bed -- that's the important thing. :D

Well, some cool things have happened since my last update. We got a metal roof installed on our house. I got my federal tax refund check a couple weeks ago and plan on buying a new bed with it. The latest news, however, is that I'm considering getting a tattoo. What tattoo, you ask? Well, this one:

I'm starting to feel like, with the exception of three people, I'm not really a friend, just a good acquaintance -- someone whom people think nicely of and say hi to when they see, but nothing more.

Well, okay, that's a lie. I've had that feeling for a long time, I'm just now starting to accept it as a truth I can't do anything about.

As of today, it has been one month since I quit smoking. How 'bout that? It feels great to not have that junk in my life anymore.

Worst thing to happen to me this week: Conan O'Brien is getting bumped off of The Tonight Show so the stupid fucks at NBC can put Jay Leno back on as host.

Best thing to happen all week: I quit smoking (two days smokeless).

Well then... this kinda sucks. My computer is probably dead. Or at least in a coma. When I described the symptoms to Shane over the phone, he thought it was the motherboard, but after seeing it in person, he said it's either the video card or the power supply. Either way, it's out of commission until I can figure out which went bad and replace it. ( Read more... )

I've really been wanting to buy a new bed, and have been thinking of upgrading from the twin-size I have now. So, I did some measurements and discovered that, with some rearranging, I'll definitely have room for a full-size bed in my room. I'm really excited.
