The last five times I tried to update it didn't work. So here goes one last try.

My week has been pretty good. Of course, now that I have gone through all of the Questionable Content archives in three days, I'll probably start getting bored again soon.

Its snowing! Finally!

That redeems today, now I just have to find a reason to get up for tomorrow and Friday.

Sometimes, when I go to move the cursor on my screen with the little red mouse button on my laptop, it makes my computer go schizoid. The cursor starts racing around the screen (even when my hands are nowhere near the machine!), every window I have open closes, and random stuff starts to open and close on its own. The thermometer insists it is 20F outside. However, there is a freezing cold gale-force wind that, when added to the equation, makes it colder than a witch's tit. That's a technical term. Well, I am now officially a resident of the state of New Jersey. I have my new, (remarkably ugly!) NJ state drivers license, and they took away my PA one 'cause apparently its illegal to have two different licenses at once. Or possibly just to remove the temptation to keep the NJ one hidden whenever I go out of state ( Read more... )

I really like this city. For all that there's lots of poverty and homeless, there's also a real sense of community. LOTS of portugese and spanish. And while there may be more of them, and at least people notice the homeless. I actually saw a woman give an obviously crazy guy a sandwich.
