I've been putting off working on my presentation all day through various means of distraction: running errands, chatting on the phone, and playing Tetris on the N64 with my brothers. Later this afternoon, I'll be making the drive up to Beaverton for Christmas.  As the day progresses, I'm getting increasingly excited to see my family and friends.  Now if only I can stay focused and work on the tasks at hand.  (Maybe Santa will leave me some "attention" and "focus" in my stocking this year, haha.)   :)

I will be reading a poem at my cousin's wedding on Saturday afternoon. I was stopped at a light en route to my place when a minivan pulled up and stopped next to me. In the backseat was a little boy who was probably three or four years old. I feel like it’s been a long while since I’ve updated, but I’ve got so little to report that’s not job-related. I’m continuing to travel all over the state, driving from the Coast to Central Oregon. As of late, my evenings and weekends have been consumed with studying for my upcoming trip to New York. I leave at 6:00am PST on Saturday morning and will start testing at HQ at 8:00am EST on Monday morning. For those of you who know how anxious I get around exams, please think good thoughts for me. :)

I purchased a couch today. In 4-6 weeks, I will officially have a place for the weary to lay their tired bodies. I have never felt more like a grown-up.
