so are you going to live in Los Lunas now? is that close to Albuquerque (where i used to live)? south? yes, sandy and desert, sage and tumbleweed stickers. but very beautiful light! i miss new mexico often... i hope it is good for you.
the light really is magic there isn't it. i would love it's softness turning beige sand to gold and floating cotton from the cottonwoods down by the river to diamonds. such a gentleness. and the people there...truly lovely.
i have fallen in love with new mexico too...there is something....
when did you live in albuquerque? and for how long? that is a place that i would like to explore more. i always just find myself driving through it...to and from arizona, up to taos...down to soccorro or los lunas.
i noticed a lot of the vinyards along the river south of albuquerque to soccorro were dead. it made me sad.
i did have a very good time. it was beautiful. i also got to see my nephew, neice, brother, and father for about a minute (1 day) in arizona...which was very good indeed.
