There is a black truck driving up and down my block. If I lived in the States, I would maybe think "hmmmmm, FBI?" (too much David Baldacci & Michael Connelly) But my thinking is "hmmmmm looking for the house that sells pot?" and "someone's test driving a truck."

Cutlery shopping is like bra shopping. You know what you're looking for, but you also know it's going to be tiring.

However, I got nice new cutlery! And 4 plates. :)
I also went to the garden centre & bought a peace lily. Seems like no one in town has a bamboo palm. :(

In an effort to get a life, I went to line dancing class tonight. There were 5 other people there (plus the instructor) and we did 4 dances, 1 of which I knew. :) It was a good time and I'm glad I went. Good exercise, too.

I'm going out for StPatty's Day tomorrow. One of my co-workers wants to see a live show at The Slice here in town, so I said I'd go with him. I'll be breaking out my Irish t-shirt to embrace the spirit of the day. Should be a good time. :)

I hate being robbed of a sneeze. It disrupts my universe.

I hate being sick!! I'm sure no one likes being sick, come to think of it. :) I've "enjoyed" the past two days off work, though. I'm off tomorrow, too. Here's hoping I'll feel human tomorrow! I might even consider a shower tomorrow. I would like a shower - but standing up takes too much effort and the chills would just come back when I do my ( Read more... )

It snowed yesterday - but it's beautiful, puffy clean snow and the sun is shining and it's warm. So I'm not too offended. Oh, and my neighbour shovelled the driveway and sidewalk. Happy Valentine's Day to me! ;)

Plus, I was finished work today at 1:30--definitely nothing to complain about! :)
