nose

Ugh...stupid allergies. I think it's time to vacuum out the vents. And dose up on Nyquil tonight to stop a freakin' allergy attack. I really should probably go and see an EENT. The thoughts of them sticking stuff up my nose, though.....*shudder*

Time for a walk, though! :)

There is a chiropractor in Medicine Hat named Dr Trevor Clarke, who uses some alternative therapies, one in particular called Total Body Modification.

He has just cured my daughter, who lives there, of a whole panoply of long term food allergies called Birch Oral Allergy Syndrome, among others.

I confess I was skeptical when she first told me about this treatment, even though I am a proponent of alternative medicine, but seeing is believing.

I will check it out!

I'm curious about the word "cured" - completely cured or does she have to go back for "maintenance"?

I don't actually know if she has to go back for maintenance or not. I do know she has continued to see him, so maybe. I also know she would be happy to talk to you about her experience. She is Andrea Watson on Facebook. Feel free to pm her if you want to. Just tell her you were talking to me on LJ about him, and I gave you her name.

What I can tell you is that my husband was absolutely cured of a life threatening seafood allergy by a one-time treatment of acupuncture and some type of brown powder, taken orally, that he got from a Chinese medicine practitioner, when he was in Malaysia way back in '97.
