grammar woes

grammar and I are having issues today. I have an assignment due tomorrow and it's done, except for two grammar parts that are confounding me--when I read about it my brain says "IT LOOKS LIKE MATH, SHUT DOWN SHUT DOWN!!!!" Ugh. So I'm taking a break and will work on it this evening
