Spent 4 hours in a meeting Tuesday. Four hours of my life I am never going to get back. I have discovered in some respects I am still quite naive about things. When you get invited to a project meeting, the people doing the inviting don't actually want to know what you think. Been a funny sort of time since last time. I had two weeks off of work, part of the enforced aspects of my job, to make sure that you're not on the fiddle. They have those two weeks to catch you out. So I didn't get the effing job, relying on plan b at the moment. It seems that no matter how much I wish to win the lottery that doens't actually improve the odds of winning. I mean WTF?
