I'm in New Orleans and I love it. I've been working like whoa and finally have my own pad. No phone yet, but the cable's hooked up. I'll write a much longer entry once we get a computer chair. Standing sucks. Tomorrow's my birthday!!!

I really cannot wait to leave Reading. It’s a crap city with crap people who don’t even look at you when you say hi to them. My walks to/from work would be a lot better if people were a little nicer to me. Instead they walk by you with an angry look and a big ol’ chip on their shoulder. Other reasons I hate it here? I’m so very tired. I’ve been walking to work almost everyday for the past two weeks. For those of you who have no idea where I live/work- it’s damn far! It’s at least two miles. It's true, they don't. I found this valuable piece of info. out from Chops. She's a bad-ass 40 something chick in the prep kitchen who thought it would be fun to tell me about everything her and her husband do. Not pretty! Having off of work is delicious. Only, I'm not REALLY off work. I have homework to do. I have to think up some new ideas for salads. Chef told me this at my review the other day.
