I taught my first class.  For seniors, they need to develop a lot more independence of thought.  And I need to explain more deeply.  There is more ready for the Science Lab Day at this early date than previously though, so I am making some good progress.  And I will probably have a tutorial for the spring term ( Read more... )

I am finding the juxtaposition of summer museum tours with daycare groups while working on the syllabus for a college course disconcerting.  Perhaps reserving the larger vocabulary for biology while speaking in short sentences in geology will help. BUT HUZZAH! the school tours are over.
