Stanford students: smarter than the average (Cal) bear

My nose is peeling a little bit from the sunburn I got over the weekend. I got a free t-shirt yesterday for jumping in a fountain in the middle of the day and showing up to my IHUM class soaking wet. The tree outside my window has the most beautiful golden leaves right now that will probably be gone by the time I get back from Thanksgiving break ( Read more... )

You aren't going to get any snow are you, in California? Gosh, I can't imagine winter without freezing weather and snow... My friend Crystal is from California and she was totally excited when it barely snowed yesterday. It got really cold here suddenly. And very windy. It's quite unfun when you have a 15 minute walk to class...

Yay for thanksgiving break!

Jessica- I'm really happy to hear you are loving Stanford. I knew you would. I'm very much enjoying myself this year too- though I can't say that I am one of "those annoying people that never seems to be doing work." It's too bad that I haven't gotten to see you much this quarter and share some of these amazing experiences with you. Next quarter we should set up sometime to meet on a regular basis, say, a lunch date once a week. I know that sounds pretty programmed, but I don't want to lose touch with you. It's just hard being at opposite ends of campus and having very different experiences at school. Are you back home for break? I'm here. So if not so much at Stanford, will I at least see you here? I'm sorry that we didn't connect that much this quarter. Hopefully, this week I will see you and we can start to make up for lost time.
