I do not hate - I love.
And, yes, of course, you can always use me as reference.
Sorry I was not at the computer earlier.

Rants are okay, if they're good ones. This was.

WTF is that Britney Spears picture???

This is a good rant indeed, and you've kinda already heard me talk a lot on this so I won't say anything else.^^ I can't figure out what your new icon is though.... *puzzled*

She went to Korea. They dressed her up in a hot pink hanbok. Oh, that's right. You can't see the rest of the dress. Well it turns HOT PINK.

Thank you :)

It is Mugen. A shot from his 'death scene' sequence.

I have no problem with pink in general, but honest to god couldn't they have picked a color that matches her tan better? She looks ludicrous!

I figured out it was Mugen after I read your icon description on the user info.^^ And did you see my reply to your last comment on my latest entry?

My parents worry about my Americanization, too. It just happens.

It's happened to me as well, I suppose. But they make sure that I only speak Korean at home. No mixing.

It isn't so much "Americanization" as conscious throwing off of one's own mother culture that is the issue. I'm Americanized as well, but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate my Chinese/Taiwanese heritage. I feel like children born of two cultures can pick and choose the best out of each, instead of fervently embracing one and turning a blind eye to the other.

Oops, I guess this should be reply to greybeta and not to you. Oh wellz. :p
