to top it off, I have really bad heartburn. So I can't sleep. I can't really read either cuz my brain is fuzzy and I can't remember what I just read (something about missing perfect pitch in musicophilia by oliver sacks). I guess I shouldn't go off my heartburn meds for even a couple of days. grrrrr hmm need to locate ipod to listen to NPR podcast.

I always enjoy everything Oliver Sacks writes. I had the great fortune of attending one of his lectures years ago, on Memory. It was so thought-provoking.

I am enjoying musicophilia a lot. I am learning things!!! I think I want to read an anthropologist on mars next. Yes? no?

His lecture must have been fantastic. His book so far is very approchable (sp?)
