For the first time since I moved to the US, I found flowering Lilly of the Valley on may 1st. Du muguet pour le premier mai. It truly is one of my favorite thing.

On the menu tonight, pork chops, des petits ognions et du gratin dauphinois. I only served the pork because I figured D might not be so impressed by just potatoes. I am sitting at my desk at work waiting for BD bioscience to call me back. Yes it is saturday. I am making up time for the sick day I took on monday. I don't like wasting a week worth of work you see. Yet it seems that is what is happening.

Your haircut cost $35. Your hair dresser does a fantastic job with your unruly wavy sometimes downright curly hair. The cut grows out nicely and you've gone to see her for over a year.

A while back my boss retrieved a very nice fluorescence microscope from the lab of someone that was leaving the U. Since then, I have been finding ways to put it to use because I just love microscope, they are nifty. I always loved looking at little things.
