this is a good post for my return to LJ

For the first time since I moved to the US, I found flowering Lilly of the Valley on may 1st. Du muguet pour le premier mai. It truly is one of my favorite thing.

Peace

Ha it's such a stapple in France on may 1st. I loved buying a little bouquet each may 1st.

That's the best :-) That's not going to happen often!

I know it's a bit weird and I probably shouldn't be so happy about it. But yay!!!

:) Didn't know those were rare on your side of the big pond.

It's not so much that they are rare. But it usually flowers later in may since we have such a long, cold winter. My friend in saint louis told me that hers flowered two weeks ago.

I just saw David Tennant playing a modern version of Hamlet. It weirded me out! We're still catching up with seasons in which he is The Doctor. How's the new guy? He looks young and so freaking skinny!

ok, I understand now :)

I actually saw the play live, with David Tennant :)))) Did a short trip to Stratford, fell asleep during the play (ALWAYS happens), enjoyed it immensely nevertheless.

Regarding the new doctor. Well. It looks a bit too much like the Tennant one + I find him weird physically => he doesn't grow on me. It's like he's temporary - a nice temporary doctor, but not squee-worthy (yet?).

Ha I saw a picture of the new doctor and I thought the same thing you do. He looks odd. Is he supposed to stay on the show?
