I highly recommend the fic I received, Sovereign Isle Is She, written for the film Dangerous Beauty (which I also highly recommend, it is one of my very favorites!). The film is the story of Veronica Franco, the courtesan and poet that saved Venice in the late 1500s, and the fic is about her choices during her first year of being a courtesan. Bandom Reverse Big Bang Mix #40: Never Quite Free
