(And don't worry about it. I'm starting to feel a little reviewed-out by the ficathon too. So many stories and so many thoughts! But there's a point where you feel like you're just repeating statements, even though you still *mean* them. I appreciate the feedback all the same.)

Hahaha, this is awesome! I love the moment River doubts herself for a second. "I didn't, did I?" :p

The whole thing is hilarious. I kind of thought you added a bit Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy vibe to it? Especially in this bit (which is also my favouritest): "Other than very important and serious reasons like the integrity of time and the threat of a point of view paradox?" River shrugs. "The Doctor'll be cross and I only just got to second base.

Great great job, funny and awesome in its awkwardness! ;) Also, poor, poor Amy! ;p

Thank you! And, yes! I'm so glad that you appreciated River's moment of self-doubt. I see River as a character being someone who lives with very few absolutes. Even about herself. There are things she'd HOPE to never do, but she understands that nothing is certain. Much like the Doctor. I imagine if the Doctor were in this situation, he'd ask the same thing (I didn't, did I?!), as compared to Rory and even Amy who work off far more certainty about who they are. Maybe the difference comes in the ability to regenerate and change who you are (assuming River is that little girl). *shrug* I'm glad you liked that bit though ( ... )

I'm so glad you enjoyed this! Really, Amy should have known better. Has she never seen any time traveling movie ever? However, in her defense, River is amazingly awesome and I don't know how well I'd be able to think in her presence. Still. Eeew. Thank you very much for your comment!
