I made this for a duct tape/chocolate lover for her birthday.  One roll of duct tape, one roll brown packing tape, some stickers, hershey kisses and 1 birthday cake candle kit.

For the 4th of July weekend I wanted to have something festive to put some flowers in, so I cut fabric to size and using Heat 'n Bond I fused this onto a rice noodle can.

Actually it's more humid than hot, but that should be expected, seeing that this weekend is the Art Fair on the Square. It's always like this on the weekend after the 4th of July.

Last weekend was a great time in the Northland. Saw lots of other cabin people and got caught up on their lives.

I will never understand the fasination with this. LLS now has 15 ear, 1 eyebrow, 1 chin and 2 nose pierces. She also has 4 tattoos, with 2 of them recently being touched up to add more brilliant colors. She admits she's addicted. But she loves them and is proud to show them off ( Read more... )

We have a cabin in northern Wisconsin that we go to often. When we got there 2 weeks ago, we found that a bear had somehow climbed the pole that the bird feeder hangs from and tore it down and smashed it to smithereens. This is the feeder before the bear visited.

We had another good weekend at the cabin. Friday was cloudy and rainy off and on, but Saturday was beautiful. Saw lots of other cabin people and wildlife. 3 sets of does and their new fawns, a fox, and a turtle that was hell-bent on getting her eggs laid. Thankfully, no bears around this time.
