Great post. Although off topic, the James Earl Jones and Malcolm McDowell cell ads were hilarious.

I just want to say that I love How to Steal a Million, it is one of my favorite movies in general and I think it's very underrated. It's very suspenseful and clever and romantic! I love Audrey Hepburn and I looove Peter O'Toole and I think it's just great :P So anyone out there who hasn't seen it should see it. :)

Thanks kiddo! cinematixyz July 21 2014, 18:40:43 UTC
Thanks for your kind words about me on this post. I liked sharing the things that excited and thrilled me with you and I am glad it rubbed off so well and you are now such a smart person with great taste (patting me own back now...) And yes, I still like Audrey and Natalie. Just watched 'Brainstorm' again this past week. That film can still choke me up if I relate the relationship in it to one of my own in the past. And the main idea and themes of that film were a bit ahead of its time. Recommended to any readers who have not seen it. -Xim

((Now that everyone knows)) I love you, Brother-San!!

Hepburn ♥ Roman Holiday is my favorite, but I also like to watch Breakfast at Tiffany's and get all misty eyed.

I know this is going to sound crazy, but hear me out.
I never thought much of Jennifer Love Hewitt's acting ability. UNTIL I saw a made for TV movie on DVD (they released it and I found it at the library..hey, free rentals!!) and she was starring in "The Audrey Hepburn Story".

I settled in to dislike it... BUT she was ON THE MONEY. She must have studied her films and interviews for a year straight. She moved like her, mannerisms, and the soft, wilting, Euro-Dutch accent and voice.

I was AMAZED. Remember how Cate Blanchett BECAME KATHERINE Hepburn in "The Aviator"?!? It was as spot on as that. HAD it been in the cinema and not made for the Telly, she would have gotten nominated.

I had NO IDEA she was that talented. I was blown away.

Try to find a youtube scene or J.L.H. playing Audrey and you will be knocked out. She had to have studied her ENDLESSLY to nail it and turn out such a -perfect- performance.

FREUDIAN SLIP!! cinematixyz July 24 2014, 03:00:48 UTC
In a few weeks I turn THIRTY five, not TWENTY five. I just reread this and caught that slip. Wishful thinking!! I didn't mean to shave ten years off my age!!! THIRTY FIVE, not 25. I wish!! LOL

My favorite thing about JEJ is how not serious he takes himself. His guest spot on the Big Bang Theory was one of my all-time favorites (cause its really hard to pick for that show!).
