I never thought much of Jennifer Love Hewitt's acting ability. UNTIL I saw a made for TV movie on DVD (they released it and I found it at the library..hey, free rentals!!) and she was starring in "The Audrey Hepburn Story".
I settled in to dislike it... BUT she was ON THE MONEY. She must have studied her films and interviews for a year straight. She moved like her, mannerisms, and the soft, wilting, Euro-Dutch accent and voice.
I was AMAZED. Remember how Cate Blanchett BECAME KATHERINE Hepburn in "The Aviator"?!? It was as spot on as that. HAD it been in the cinema and not made for the Telly, she would have gotten nominated.
I had NO IDEA she was that talented. I was blown away.
Try to find a youtube scene or J.L.H. playing Audrey and you will be knocked out. She had to have studied her ENDLESSLY to nail it and turn out such a -perfect- performance.
