Life-giving RAIN!!

How totally amazing rain can be when you haven't seen it in a long time! It's been about six weeks since we had a good rain and today we are having an amazingly good rain! It's coming down strong enough to do some good and slow enough so as to not create damage. I just feel like going for a walk in the rain, but my poor dog would not understand ( Read more... )

It was heavy monsoon rain here all night from 5pm until after 1am last night, and sprinkles all night. I was just talking to the Tigers and they said it was raining and probably would rain out the game tonight. Enjoy the rain! I do love a good rainstorm. :)

It must have been raining on all of the girls. That makes it even more soothing. The petals don't fall far from the flower.
I did take a walk from the rain, and there was a couple dancing under a streetlight. All it needed was a classic movie man to slip out of the shadows, and I would have been in TCM. With color.

This might indeed be the year for Cheeseburger. It seems like we've considered it forever.

It is raining AGAIN. We supposedly got another 2" today, and it's supposed to rain tomorrow and the day after still. If Liam were here, he'd be with the National Guard dealing with the flooding after=effects in southern Wisconsin.

Did I pass on what he is doing in Korea? He says:

"I'm monitoring the secure phone line (I talk to generals and their
assistants all day) and the secure internet connection (updates on the "war"
in the exercise) then I also process requests based on the information I
gave to the reporters. It keeps me up to date on what is happening, but
there is a lot of down time.I'm reading almost a book a day."

He says he's taking lots of pictures with the digital camera. :)

Oh my. Not at all the "building something" that he thought he would be doing. Well, in a way it's a "building something". Just not quite physical. I hope he has a good source of books!

We only sent like five with him, so I hope he's trading with the other soldiers or something. This Army, so full of surprises.

Also, it is RAINING again. Hard.
