Just knew, when I woke up today, that Righty had slid further downhill. Ribcage on that side, along with the arm on that side, has reached doornail status and I now require assistance to get out of bed. Can walk slightly with crutches and assistance once up. Right side - leg, arm, etc., getting real numb. I expect that this is just part of the deal or perhaps an artifact of that brain biopsy. I'm stil trying to figure out whether they used an icepick or a screwdriver (corkscrew).

Right side is going downhill fast. A week ago I could get up onto my crutches alone. That is now just a memory. Most difficult thing about the crutches are the helpers. Last night three people decided to "help me". That added 6 points of contact to the floor. Once I'm up, 3 points seems to be enough (2 crutches plus one foot) but 3 people add 6 ( Read more... )
