Instead of attempting a life update at the moment, let's talk about TV.

I finally finished series 4 of Merlin, and ( spoilers )

re: teen wolf, JUST GIVE IT TIME. i started to really like it by the end of s1, and then s2 just gets better and better and better until you forget that you used to not take this show seriously and think it was kind of ridiculous. and then you're done for pretty much. also i like that your dad is watching it with you hahaha.

I have now finished season one, and can definitely see more of the appeal! I'm anxious to start season 2, but now now that my dad is all interested, I suppose I have to wait until we can watch it together, heh. I was excited to start watching a show that I wouldn't have to schedule around other people's availability, but that didn't quite work out, whoops. ;) Oh well, it might be nice to have it stretch out a bit.

It's pretty great! :D

Haha, I am excited to finish the show and join in with everybody enjoying the fic. :)

I didn't have cable growing up so I only saw a few episodes of Daria here and there at friends' houses. I'm glad I decided to watch it now!

YES to the Merlin thing. Season 4 was actually my favourite season after season 1, but I can't believe they still haven't dealt with that. Next season, hopefully, because it's getting ridiculous.

And TEEN WOLF! It had me practically at hello, but yes, definitely give it time until at least the second season. The first one is fun and kind of cracky, in a good way, but the second one is, for the most part, better than many other supposedly more serious (i.e. not on MTV and about teens :| ) shows on TV right now - not always the plot, but the characters are so well written (and many of the actors are fantastic - hi, Dylan O'Brien!) and it deals with a lot of issues really, really well.

Also, Game of Thrones! And Daria! <333 That's a very good combination of shows you're watching. :D

Exactly! There was a lot I liked about season 4, but I was just so hoping that the magic reveal would included. :/ Crossing my fingers for next year!

I've finished season one of Teen Wolf now, and am definitely getting more into it. I really want to start season 2, but apparently I have to wait for my dad now, since he got all randomly interested in it, haha. I guess it'll be nice to stretch it out a bit instead of marathoning it all at once?

I am enjoying this TV combination indeed! :)

Oh wow, I wonder what it would be like to really watch Daria for the first time as an adult! That show was sooooooooooo important to my formative years! And be honest... you have a crush on Trent, too. Right? :D? Glad you're enjoying it!!

I never had cable growing up, so I only got to see a few episodes at friends' houses sometimes. I remember liking it (which is why I decided to watch it all now), but I sort of thought it'd just be humor without a ton of substance. But the characters have actual depth! And there's good social commentary and stuff! \o/ Haha, maybe a little crush. ;) But kind of more of one on Jane for some reason? /o\

I still have to get through the last... 5(?) episodes of Merlin S4. I know I should probably do it before they start airing the new season but I'm so EH about the show these days! How many more times is Arthur going to conveniently hit his head and pass out? Shouldn't they be checking him for head trauma at some point? In other news, that fic was AMAZING.

Daria! They've been randomly airing episodes here and I still enjoy it just as much as the first time I watched it.

Oh man, Arthur is the king of conveniently passing out. It's pretty ridiculous! There was a lot of season 4 that I liked pretty decently, but I just don't care nearly as much as I used to. It'd be cool if the next season were really amazing, but I'm not holding my breath. I just need to accept it for what it is: silly and fun. I'm glad lovely fic can still come out of it, though! :)
