Today marked my first day of my first official Grown Up Job, which also marks the first day I start back up my awesomely short-lived series titled "Annie Rides The Bus!" Shortly after I was born (or maybe shortly before?), my parents made the decision to have me baptized. My mother was raised Catholic, not that you could at all tell if you met her or knew her, the only dead giveaway is the fact that she is one of 12 children. I am watching "Brook Knows Best" right now and I am not ashamed. I kind of hate to say it, but the first minute of the intro made me feel really bad for her. I don't think I ever mentioned this before, but I am in the final stretch of my living in Ballard for a month. A friend of mine has an apartment here and his roommate is traveling in Europe, so they let me live in her room while she is gone. I usually listen to music on the bus for several reasons. Partially because I get car sick if I read in the car and am scared to try on the bus, partially because I am afraid I will get engrossed in my current book ("Love in the Time of Cholera"), and partially because it allows me look off and notice things along the commute.
