Well, yesterday i got my first host family! They called me! The mom doesn't speak much english and my spanish isn't perfect so this should be really interesting! I will have a thirteen year old sister too, I have no idea how that will work out, The closest to a sister I've ever come is my 14 year old brother! I'm much more nervous now then i think

Whoa, I didn't know that you were good in spanish enough to goto a family in Mexico.. I could goto Germany for the same thing, but I'm at the time, not interested..

well Im not necessarlily the best in spanish, and you dont get to pick where you go for your exchange. They just place you. They told me for like 3 months that i was going to thailand but then at the last second they switched me to mexico. Germany would be a wonderful experience, as any exchange would....my friend JR is going on his exchange there and i have friends that live there(they were exchange students to the US) Well I guess thats it...

I was gonna go to France for a month during the summer, but then my parents wouldn't let me cause the meeting for it was September 14th, and they were all freaked out about me going to a foreign country. Oh well, I guess it's kinda for the better considering the anti-Semitism in France is rising.

well it would have been an awesome experience for you, maybe when you graduate or something you will get to go, and all the problems that they are having will be solved by then. I know two exchange students from France, Charlene and Josse. They are very nice and fun people.
