i'm on your friends list. & i'm 15. but i don't pretend to like coffee. & i don't pretend like i pay attention to politics. i know a lot of people my age say they hate bush cause all the cool kids do. but when i fill out applications for communities or whatever & one of the questions ask about bush i just say i'm not going to pretend like hate him. & i usually get shit for that.
i wasn't offended or anything. but i agree that hating bush is the trendy thing to do. & the majority of the people have no reason except "i don't like the things he does" or "the war".
The Muslims have a right to hate Christians. Christians took their land, slaughtered their families, and have tried forcing their beliefs on them. Think about it:
If you were muslim and you enjoyed your way of life, would you want a nation that gives access to prOn and strip clubs entering your society?

No one has the right to hate anyone.
I think you're confusing Muslim fundamentalist, man. Look at the religion of Islam, it's about peace and love. I work with heavily with an Intercultural organization, and I have a lot of contact with people of the Islam faith, and they're not Christian-hating nor America-hating.
I think it becomes a big problem when we stereotype people into large mass categories of who hates who. Our main focal point shouldn't be the hate nor the differences that divides us, it should be the similarities we all share as humans to unite us.
When we think in terms of "us" and "them" that does nothing but reinforces barriers that are unnecessary for our community of peoples.
