An anniversary and a first!

Animals, furry and non-
For whatever reason I seem to be recording videos of mainly animals. Here are 2 highlights from my trip to the Singapore zoo. The zoo itself I was not all that impressed with - quite typical really, and I was expecting something world class. I did enjoy the chance to see a komodo dragon in the flesh.

The results you've been waiting for...
I pass by 7 different 7-11 stores on the 15 minute walk from skytrain to my apartment. And if I went downstairs to exit skytrain instead of walking straight into the adjoining mall, I'd pass by 8. 2 pairs of them are directly across the street from each other, or 4 stores out of the 7 ( Read more... ) -

David Carradine Found Dead In Bangkok Hotel Room
Carradine's body was found this morning, apparently dead from suicide. Hard to believe! From what little I know about him, he seemed energetic and well balanced. He wasn't just an actor playing a kung fu master, but was personally interested in martial arts and Eastern religions. His career definitely was making a comeback since Kill Bill. ( Read more... ) -
Seafood/Massage Open Dairy
Thai businesses like to use hybrid business models - photocopy / internet, passport photos / snacks, etc. Often these involve massage. One amusing one I kept seeing was massage / internet. Are you supposed to be doing these things at the same time? This picture is an all time favorite: massage/seafood, served dairy. It works on so many levels ( Read more... )
