Estelle Getty passed away today at 84. Her battle with dementia is over, and her humor, with God, now rests. I feel very sad, and it is strange how I am affected by the passing of this woman, whom I never knew. For almost as long as I can remember the tv series "The Golden Girls" has been a part of my life. Memorial Day
I went to the cemetery with my grandparents today. We planted flowers at my great-grandmother's grave and a few other departed family members. It is always taxing for me to be there.
