Christmas time is here

Yesterday, I went shopping in London for Christmas presents. It wasn’t particularly special in terms of the gifts that I found, but it was the atmosphere itself that stood out. Isn't warm apple cider amazing? Around Halloween I was at Stone Mountain for their Southern Ghosts tour and at the end they had warm apple cider, and it was pretty swell.

I'm having a..Atlanta Christmas. I don't think it compares to a British Christmas. Say hi to Radiohead for me.

That sounds beautiful. I'm kind of a Scroogey-curmudgeon this year, so it's nice to read about Christmas from another perspective.

I look forward to seeing you at the family party-- though I hope the rest of your December in England is enjoyable.

I was in England 2 years ago for a week and a half (Birmingham for 5 days, Oxford for 1, and London for 3) and I just loved it. If I could afford it and if I had the time, I would totally go over there tomorrow and invade your space so we could experience the proper English Christmas together. What an experience that must be.
