Long weekends sometimes seem a bit too looong. Maybe cause everyone goes to see their families or goes on random club retreats/events. Finished my O Chem for the week, and all my poli sci readings, and started working ahead. Everyone will be home late tonight or tomorrow though, so tomorrow will hopefully be fun and exciting again ( Read more... ) -

TA Training today! Pretty worthless, but also mildly amusing. The professors that led it were very cool, but the information they gave us was fairly basic and annoying. For example, if you broke your arm in a drunken skateboarding accident, you should probably leave off the drunken part when your students ask you what happened. Plus they forbid ( Read more... ) -

At UCSD things are back to normal and absolutely wonderful. Rachel^2 (Winter and Katz) and I had a wonderful time this evening reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix aloud. Twas fun and ever thus. I hope Rachel is enjoying her time here as much as I'm enjoying it, and she is comfortable sharing a room with Rachel W. since Nat is gone ( Read more... ) -
