Calcium gummy bears aren't junk food, are they?
So my apartment has fallen in love with Calcium Gummy Bears, the vitamin snack for the whole family. They are sour and chewy and bonebuilding all in a bear shaped gummy chew! Yo all! Only a week left of classes, a week of finals, and then spring break! I'm really looking forward to some time off and a whole new set of classes. I just need to get through final exams, which really means I just have to get through my O Chem final exam. Twas a week of accomplishments. Third midterms (and midterms in general) are over, we finished a thousand piece puzzle, I graded 203 exams, I finished sorting a core in the lab, and I ended the week with the Revelle SemiFormal. Tis Valentines Day! It was actually quite loverly here. A nice foggy morning, slightly sunny afternoon, and a day full of those cool little valentines that you use to get in elementary. Every once in awhile my students ask me questions I have no idea how to answer, so I usually go and ask the professor and get back to them the next week. This time the professor didn't know the answers to the questions, and said just to tell them they'll learn it in Mam Phys, which is a class I'm so happy I don't have to take. I don't think I'm going to die, at least not from O Chem. The exam was decent. I did okay, not great or anything, but I'm in a better position grade wise (only a few points) than I was on my first O Chem midterm last quarter and I ended up doing fine then, so all is good. No need to dishonor my cow or anything ( Read more... ) -

I survived, kind of. I'll find out how much I survived tomorrow. How they are going to grade all those exams that fast? I have no idea, but they'll be giving them back so that people can drop the class before the W deadline.
Anyways, I had fun grading yesterday. Nice way to forget about one of the most traumatic exams of my life. -
