We've been doing a bit of cleaning at home, and I was tasked with cleaning my bookcases - dusting and cleaning the books, etc. I made a bit of a project of it, by getting rid of some books that are no longer needed, and cataloguing all of my books. For this I used an app on my phone called Bookshelf. It's pretty handy. You can create virtual

That's a lot of work, but the results look so satisfying! I have lots of full bookshelves, lots of books temporarily in boxes, and lots of books in stacks on the floor. My fantasy is to somehow acquire more bookshelf space (like, and this is why it's a fantasy, acquiring the empty house behind J's) and thus having room to bring out all of my mom's books too, which are packed in boxes in my garage.

J. has a very nice set of bookshelves in his library, but many of his books are still in North Carolina.

Wouldn't that be fun? I could put a desk there too and call it my office.
