Another day in paradise. I haven't been doing that great. I've got some depression and a lot of loneliness. But, I'm hangin' in there. I've got 59 days of sobriety, but yesterday and today have been a real struggle. I still need to get a sponser, so that I'll have someone to call when the cravings hit ( Read more... )

I'm now in Tulare, CA. It's near Visalia. I was in Twin Falls, ID, on Oct. 16th. Then, Elko, NV until Oct. 22nd. Next stop after Calif. Yuma, AZ. I really feel like a "gypsy". It was 27 degrees when I left Elko and this morning in Tulare, at 10:30 it's already 75 and should get up to 86. It's a little smoggy and the sun looks hazy and washed ( Read more... )

OK, so here's the deal. I spent all of Sept. in rehab at Highland Ridge, in Utah. I've been clean and sober for 42 very long days. Before that, I traveled with my husband, Alex, from Southern Calif. to midwestern Oregon. He works for Union Pacific Railroad and we move about every two weeks. That's how I became Cynaera's "Gypsy on the Road". ( Read more... )

Well, this is strange and new. I usually keep my thoughts to myself. But, I have a dear friend here at LiveJournal, so I'm keeping an open mind and giving this a try.
Tonight, I'm in Caliente, NV. It's rural and quaint. The rocky hills are quite beautiful at sunset.
