well, four days until the NHS' best guess of when my baby may or may not turn up. A baby may show up anytime in the two or three weeks either side of this date and how far your opinion of what is safe seems to depend on training, outlook and possibly a largish dose of politics. I remember getting very down on Ceridwen's due date because she wasn't arriving then and I knew logically it was a bit silly, but it still got to me. This time round I kind of like that our current due date is the 14-17th, hopefully should stop me pinning everything on an arbitrary day so much. *hugs* As you say, at least there's a time limit on it now.

I empathise (as much as a never-been-preggers lady can) as I remember my mum getting so impatient with my siblings as they were both late (my sister was induced after two weeks) - which made her appreciate me arriving a month early!
