It was my first day to wear my cape out and about. I have to say, I was initially very hesitant on doing so, especially because it was just out to eat with my dad. That....was the AWESOMEST entry I think I've ever read! I was gonna make some comment about Alex's comment about seeing you in just the cape and how I didn't think that was a bad idea, but, having read the whole entry, a comment like that would have been crass in light of the sheer awesomeness of the entry as a whole.

I second scooter. Alex has a good idea, but it would be an awkward statement.

Hey Claire, this is Becca, Meredith's sister.
Mere told me that you were doing this whole cape thing. I love the idea.
I know the feeling of having to talk on and on about college plans over and over.
But to bug you again, where are you gonna go?
What color is the cape?
What would you say about the cape if a stranger did ask about it?
Does it still feel awesome to swish in it?
Are you still gonna wear it when the weather gets warmer?
Where's your first cape entry? I saw the previous one, but you said you'd been thinking about it before, and I looked back but didn't find anything.

Anyways, I really like this so far, keep writing.

Hey Becca!
I haven't decided where I'm gonna go yet. I'm deciding between UT, Texas State and Florida State. I'm going down to Texas State for a scholarhip interview a week from Friday, then I'm flying to Florida the next day for an interview with the Film School. We'll see what happens. I'll probably be in Texas after all is said and done.
The cape is actually reversable with one side silver and one side navy blue. If a stranger asked me about it, I don't know what I would say, I guess it would depend on the question. If they asked me why I was wearing it, well, that's simple: because I do what I want.
I think the original entry might have been friends only. I'll add you so you can read it if you want.
