This nicer Eiri is inspired by the manga; because he seems to be more sensitive (he cries easily) towards the end, and nicer too.

Most definitely... when it's Shuichi/Yuki at least. Read the manga *nods* Read the novels *nods* Watched the series *nods* Watched the OVA *nods* I adore Gravitation.

While through most of the manga and anime, I have a love/hate thing for Yuki and the way he treats Shuichi... the kind of love hate where you just want to bash his head in with a hammer, but then he does something endearing and you have to extend a reprieve... you know, pretty much how Yuiki probably feels about Shuichi at times, but you just know that no matter what he says and does, he loves the little guy.

I think on my next day off I may need to sit down and rewatch the anime... or the OVA... heck, BOTH!
