1. I recently stumbled upon a photo of your back in Mollie's photo collection.
2. A lovely Regina Spektor song entitled "Flowers," because I think it is written for those who cannot help but feel profoundly and love immensely.
3. You do not strike me as a J-E-L-L-O kind of girl. I say we wrestle in...gazpacho.
4. Mollie: America's number one (non-)prescribed antidepressant.
5. At the risk of sounding trite, I will confess that I was struck by your face and how very effortlessly feminine you are.
6. Maybe a regal lioness with a bountiful, glossy mane.
7. Who/what do you fantasize about being? Your response doesn't need to be anything grandiose or glamorous, either.
8. Do not worry about the dreaded number eight; to each her own, I say.

I fantasize about waking up truly happy and confident. A person who doesn't waste energy on unimportant matters. A strong woman, who makes friends quite easily but doesn't place heavy dependence on others.
"effortlessly feminine" is not a description of myself that I hear...ever...thankyou very much. I aspire to be so.

For the delight and amusement of all, I shall extrapolate from your journal.

1. You're a sensitive though not painstakingly serious individual.
2. "Should I Stay Or Should I Go" by The Clash, because you have more than once lamented love's fickle ways.
3. Do you even like jello?
4. Well, we do not exactly have an arsenal of inside jokes..."Have I got a proposition for you!." Or, remember that time when you were attacked by a veritable Livejournal mob for some innocent comment about roly-polies on Mollie's journal?
5. You complained about the infamous Natalie on Mollie's journal. Profusely. And I felt that I could strangely relate to some of your sentiments.
6. mountain lion. duh.
7. What is your favorite season?

I like it cold but not too much
Fall.
Though I like rain, it there's sometimes more rain in Spring/Summer.
And I enjoy Winter.

So I'd say it's Fall most of the time.

1. You have pretty eyes.
2. "Blister In the Sun" by the Violent Femmes, because it teeming with exuberance and color.
3. How about classic cherry?
4. "My heart leaps up when I behold/a rainbow in the sky."
5. I think you were frolicking playfully about in the band room, and I thought to myself, admiringly, "my does she have a lot of energy!"
6. Perhaps a chimpanzee--bright-eyed, charismatic, adventurous.
7. Are you a behind-the-scenes melancholy person, or genuinely a bouncy, insouciant girl?

i'm rather curious about what you think of me claire, so after pondering for 5 minutes i decided to risk it. i will post it on my xanga (i don't use my live journal), and pray that not that many people will respond to it.

1. You are officially an American Eagle addict!
2. "Brown Eyed Girl" by Van Morrison. A very sweet, melodious ballad that celebrates youth and beauty.
3. I think this question is rather inane and purposeless. I mean, would you and I ever get pugilistic in a pool of Jello, regardless of the flavor? Poppycock!
4. Oh, the delight and wonder of Racquet Sports!
5. Definitely a koala. Such gentle faces, gleaming eyes, and adorably compact little bodies.
6. You are a very multidimensional, adaptable person, which allows you to appreciate and mingle with an almost staggering variety of people. I wonder, however, if you ever feel estranged by your uniqueness, and that no one can fully or semi-fully understand you. Do you think this is true--that you accept as perhaps a precondition to any social engagement that you will remain, by virtue of your complexity, somewhat opaque and mysterious to others?

So I did. Disgraceful!

5. Dimi, as I recall, introduced us, remarking something to the effect that you are an amazingly intelligent, diligent person. (She tends to introduce people whom she especially admires with lofty estimations of their intellect, so at this point it was clear that you had won her affection. Later, of course, I would find for myself that her praise was not all all a hyperbole.) You responded with a gleaming but humble smile, and struck me as a quite genuinely kind, gentle person.
