It's frigging freezing. Which is not helping my ear infection. What is it with these northerners, there was a woman waiting for the bus wearing only a skinny t-shirt (and I hope she's dressed her kid in a pram up better) and a woman strolling down town in tiny sandals! Not to mention a load of girls yesterday at the bonfire whose warmest item of clothing was a cut-off hoodie. Wah!
It would appear to get worse the further north you get. When I was in Redcar, it was de rigeur for girls to wear skirts no larger than belts and vest tops with high heels and nothing else to go out on a night in. In December. On the sea front. I just don't understand it.
Although I have been known to walk home barefoot in the snow because my shoes were killing me...
I'm back to being cold again now we're back in the office, if that's not a good enough excuse to leave early, I don't know what is! ;)
Hmm, I have a sudden urge to bitch about women in "modern" clothing.
I saw a woman the other day and she was wearing tapered trousers and one of those "stylish" jackets to the waist. The name Tweedle-dum sprang to mind coz she looked like <>
Ugh, I know exactly what you mean. I look at them, then I look at myself (being the style icon that I am of course!) and I think to myself 'I wouldn't dare!'
Leave the high fashion looks to the thinner ladies, that's who those looks are designed for!
Saw another one at work today - rather pregnant (usually petite) lady wearing one. It used to suit her when she wasn't pregnant, now she just looks round.
Why do women want to look like balloons???? We're supposed to be wearing clothes that slim us, not the other way around.
