Giving blood is a great thing to do. I've decided it's not something I personally can do though... six months ago when I went in for a women's health appointment, the doctor told me that I was placing unnecessary stress on my body by donating plasma and that I should stop doing that. I never felt woozy or tired afterwards, but I know I abuse my body a lot and am trying to learn to care for myself better (finally going to the doctor last week to get help with my sickness is a case in point). It's not a question of how much my body can take so much as what is best for it. But giving blood is definitely a good thing, for those that can do so.

I smile whenever you talk about your scrapbooking.

I lost a ring down the sink last month... it's either still in the u-bend or gone on to Elsewhere. Glad you were able to salvage your ducky.

What a shame about having to shift gears on your project. It's always annoying to have one thing planned and then have it messed up. I was planning to get a paper published and then I got some contradictory results. Twas sad, but maybe I can still pull out a paper from the contradictions.
