I'm so excited! I've finally decided on a program for my master's recital after a lot of deliberating. I tried to create a very diverse program since I think the ability to play a lot of different styles is my strength. There is diversity in nationality, general style, and instrumentation. Today was “spend your Christmas gift cards” day. I originally thought I'd have wind ensemble today, but the director told me that he doesn't need me until next Tuesday. Woo! Mom left this morning. I probably would have preferred to have her go a day or two sooner, but overall it was nice having her and I am very thankful for all that she did. As I mentioned, I did get an appointment on Wednesday. I needed to go as I had a lot of questions as far as how long I should be resting for, and exactly how much was acceptable to do. The doctor's office finally called me back. The doctor thought I should come back in to be checked out, so I'm going in an hour. I think I do need to go back in since I feel no better. We'll see what they say or what they can do for me.
