No one has the right to tell you not to press charges, you are an adult, and you paid for all that stuff with your own money.

Frankly, the whole situation has me disgusted. You parents supporting Lars is well within thier parental resbonsibilities, but Blaming you is completly wrong.

And trust me, if Lars had "taken this outback", it wouldn't have been you going to jail, it would have been Joe, Billy, or even Me going to jail.

I definitely have to say you're in the right with what you're doing. Even though, you're living in your parents' house, you still should have some reasonable expectation of privacy and the right to protect your own property. Lars really needs to learn to be responsible for his own actions, and if it takes a $2,500+ lawsuit to make him realize this then so be it.

while I agree with you, the problem with that is that that isn't going to happen because:

1.) my parents are supporting Lars. Meaning that they've hired a lawyer, and are actively working against me.

2.) my parents have just today asked me to state on my Victim Statement Form, that I have been more or less have not been affected by the crim that was commited against me.(total bullshit)

3.) i suspect my parents will likely request I leave the house if i continue to push this.
