What's been going on
The pace of my life has been crazy since March began. Work has picked up substantially due to the season. I started working here in the middle of tax season last year, got used to the pace, and then realized that, after April 15th, there isn't a lot to do until mid-August. Laptop issues
So, tonight my laptop battery died and when I restarted, my sound didn't work. I've run through several different attempts to try and restore my sound. Restarted, uninstalled the sound device then reinstalled it, checked for updates for my OS. The volume icon says I have sound, and that the devices are working properly. I recieved a piece of mail from JET - a flat, white, size 10 envelope. My immediate thought was 'college rejection letter,' but I was too excited by the prospect of contact from these people for disappointment to even register. It turned out it was only a notice of confirmation that my application had been recieved and processed along with my ID ( Read more... ) -

Paying it forward
When I moved back home after college, my friend Brendan gave me a 24' Toshiba TV with a built-in DVD / VCR player since he had recently upgraded. Since I recently upgraded myself, I thought I'd see if anyone else needed a new TV.
