35 days until I leave Oakwood. With all the various teachers retiring/resigning/leaving/being laid off, that school's going to be a very interesting place next year.

I've been trying my friend Derrick's workout video the last couple days. It's called Jillian Michaels' 30 day shred. It's a tough circuit training video that lasts about 20-25 minutes but has a fairly high intensity. I've done it two of the last three days and have done fairly well with it (except for the lunging exercises). 

I'd say February is my least-favorite month as far as holidays go. Not only do you have the horticulture, diamond, chocolate and gift card industry conspiring to make single people like me feel guilty and worthless (and never mind how they market Valentine's Day as "straight-only"), but you also have Groundhog Day. It's been a pretty miserable day and night.

My formal performance evaluation didn't go as well as I felt it should have. My principal told me that I was "better" than prior observations, but says he still sees some things I need to improve on.
